"Happou" meaning the eight directions and "Yoke" meaning "exclude".

The eight directions are East, West, South, North, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast,and Southwest.

It is called eight directions, but it means protecting from all directions.

This ofuda is blessed by Myorinji's Inari.

Stick it on the inner wall of the entrance to keep evil from entering the house.
